The Funhouse Skateboards and Thrasher Magazine Foot and Half of Fury event was held July 26th and was the ultimate in low caliber entertainment. Literally tens of skaters ripped the vanishing concrete lip and all enjoyed the fresh new pool tile work by Jerry (www.jereye.com). The WORST trick contest was full of crappy tricks and loads of FUN! Lowlights included Funhouse Team ripper Chris Williams’ shoe off to shoe on run with a sprinkling of ripping in between. Daniel the snake’s pathetic, utterly flavorless, FAKIE ROCK to nothing earned an early prize before the NO SNAKING policy punched his ticket. Mini Chris showed how to NOT get it done with a terribly executed roll out to failed finger flip 360 truck pogo to roll in. Yep. Bad as it sounds. Not to be out done, the Funhouse Bossman himself executed an unfortunately flawless BONELESS TO GUITAR HERO (BARRACUDA) TO DISASTER. Even missed a few easy notes in there for good measure. Sucky.

The 10 minute Mini “What You Got?” skater of the minute contest stacked up to be Ali, Adam, Mini Chris and Andre to round out the top four. Lots of goodies from Thrasher Mag and Funhouse Skateboards were doled out as was a Positiv Skateboards complete courtesy of Kam and Skate One. Word up to Ms. Jordan who rolled in on a scooter and rolled out on a skateboard! That’s what it’s all about. Thanks to the Owl’s Head Old Man Locals and Shaggy for helping pull it off.
